I'm Back! + VOGUE Online Shopping Night

No posts lately? No coincidence!
As some of you may or may not no, I've recently been jet setting around Europe. 7 weeks of jet setting to be precise. So as I excite you for many travel photos and many more fashion posts to share, I believe I have made it home just in time for possibly one of the most unmissable dates on the fashion calendar: Vogue's Online Shopping Night.
With many fashion retailers on jumping on the bandwagon it's a great excuse for you to snap up that new knit or pair leather pants you've been eying off weeks now. Discounts, free shipping and gifts are offered with purchases as a part of the promotion to boost the economy of all things fabulous.
Scrolling through my Instagram (abbieatt) and emails this morning I was flooded with great deals, that of course I had to share!

Enjoy your online shop, and leave a comment of any purchases!

Who You Calling 'Baggy'?

Have comfort and style finally agreed on garment that can be worn without losing all fashion sense and street cred? Or have designers abroad been affected by all those triple strength lattes during fashion week to maintain their sanity and social appearances?
With the turn over trend of baggy leather pants back on the scene it seems that style icons and fashion bloggers alike can't get enough of the latest style. Spotted just about everywhere an 'it' girl would find herself the baggy leather trouser has definitely moved in for winter, and with a myriad of ways to wear there is no excuse not to put your styling hat on and get experimenting!

Now if this isn't evident enough that people are actually digging this look, I've hand picked  4 pairs from some of my favorite designers to help share the loving around. Brands like Lavin, Alexander Wang and Rang & Bone have all done their part in reinventing the 2010 trend where design houses such as Bottega Veneta and Reed Krakoff sent the super sized pant down the runway.

TOPSHOP X J.W ANDERSON LOVE

TOPSHOP X J.W ANDERSON

For anyone who has ever spent more than 30 seconds with me, they will begin to understand my deep love and affection for everything Topshop. It may have something to do with London culture, the diverse weather change from sunny Australia, or the simple fact that I dream of rolling around Oxford Circus gaging for the retail madness.

Either way, the latest collaboration with J.W Anderson has been no exception to the usual heart palpitations (hello cardiac arrest) I experience when viewing new Topshop lines.

The collect is so simple and mod: simple colours, simple cuts and simple lines… it even had loafers and backpacks. I’ve picked a few of my favourites from the range (excluding the boutique leather skirt, but I just thought it matched perfectly!) I adore the colour used for the dress and top, I just feel it’s such a trans seasonal and wearable colour. What do you think? Would you wear it? The full line can be viewed here at Topshop here

PRINT It Forward

Does anyone else feel like they went to sleep in June, and woke up in 2013?
With a new year appearing in our diary's and calenders I think it's time to show 2013 what we're made of... good taste in fashion and an attitude more daring than Marc Jacobs. With good styling printed pants (yes I mean pants and not skin hugging lycra leggings) can be worn at any age while still looking suitable and stylish. Personally I feel adding a little print if fun and enhances personality and character through dressing, they tell the world who you are with out you having to say a word.
Above are some quick and easy ways to jump into the new year with some funky trunks on. Keep accessories clean and simple, something like a plain coloured geometric earning or a large faced watch would ideal.
Enjoy this trend and enjoy your new year, which I guarantee you will with a little print in your life!

Mr Kors, Educate Us Please

This season the darling Michael Kors has continued to educate us on his fashionable philosophy on life through his pre fall collection. Know for his classic American women sports wear designs, Mr Kors has reminded us 3 concepts of fashion that we should all make note of for our daily lives. Pens ready ladies!

Leather is ageless, leather will always be on trend. Make leather your friend.
For those who can only picture a bearded man on a motorcycle when thinking of the
durable material I plead for you to join us in the current generation.
Leather can be worn with class and with style regardless of age or occasion, no motorbikes required.

Legally Blonde is now socially acceptable, yes you heard me right.
Throw away your black linen power suit and replace it with something
that screams, 'I'm smart, I'm a woman, and yes I'm wearing pink.'
The following looks remind us of youth and the fun that incorporates its self within the fashion.
Not quite ready to be consumed by head to toe pink?
Try some girly gloves or shades for the lunch break.

Finally, the Long Island man shows us that pattern on pattern isn't parting with us anytime soon. The risky trend can be one that sets fear into fashionistas a like, yet if you get it right prepare for turning heads and a never ending list of compliments by those who adore your style. Get it wrong? That's what fashion is about, adventure and play!
